Celebrating Principals Across the Country
The month of October will be recognized as National Principals Month thanks to a recent Senate resolution. The final list of cosponsors included Senators: Franken, Carper, Wyden, Heinrich, Durbin, Feinstein, Cochran and Boozman. National Principals Month is your opportunity to say “thank you” to principals everywhere and to share with the community all the great things that principals do.
As you plan your National Principals Month activities, be sure to check out our resources for celebrating and share what you’re doing by posting to social media with #ThankAPrincipal. The key to student success is a great school, and the key to a great school is a great principal.
The success of every school and student depends on the effectiveness of school leaders. National Principals Month is one way we can promote the importance of and investments in school leadership. Here are a few ways for you to celebrate your leadership.
