Dr. Sandra Inga

Dr. Sandra Inga is the president of HPSA (Hartford’s Principal and Supervisor’s Association), Local 22 – located in Hartford, Connecticut. Sandra assumed office on July 1, 2013. A semiconductor engineer for more than 15 years, Sandra began her career in education in 1998 as a chemistry teacher, with Hartford Public Schools (HPS). Currently, Sandra is employed by HPS, in the Office of Curriculum and Instruction – as the S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics’) Director, where she is responsible for designing and implementing preK-12 science, math and technology curricula. Sandra is a passionate educator and has taught chemistry and mathematics in Nigeria. She enjoys tutoring students and engaging students in S.T.E.M.-related content/ careers. Dr. Inga is viewed as an outstanding educato­­­r, a dedicated mentor and one who believes in the strength and importance of public education.
