Elaine Papas

Elaine Papas is an executive board member of the Hartford Principals’ and Supervisors’ Association (HPSA), Local 22 addressing COPE issues and the Connecticut State Federation of Administrators’ (CSFA) Treasurer.

Ms. Papas is currently an Assistant Principal at Classical Magnet school.  She has worked in Hartford Public schools since 1985.  Ms. Papas has also worked as a primary grade teacher at the Alfred E. Burr Elementary school Early Childhood Department as a Resource Teacher servicing grades PK-3, Success for All Facilitator, Hartford Federation of Teachers’ (HFT) Union Representative, Hartford Principals and Supervisors Association(HPSA) Contract Negotiation Team, First Steps Teacher Tutor, Summer Enrichment Project Director, Assistant Principal at Quirk Middle School, Acting Principal of Quirk Middle School, Assistant Principal at Dr. Joseph J. Bellizzi Middle School and an Administrator/Facilitator with the Middlesex School Consortium.

Ms. Papas has attended the University of Hartford and Central Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, a Masters of Science Degree in Administration and Supervision and a Sixth Year Degree in Administration and Supervision from Central Connecticut State University.
